Clarksville High School basketball standout Samantha Childers will continue her basketball career at the University of the Ozarks, it was announced by Ozarks' head women's basketball coach Carl Ramsey. Childers, a 5-foot-7 guard, averaged 11.0 points and 5.0 rebounds en route to earning All-State and All-Conference her senior campaign. Additionally, she was named to the All-Conference Team as a junior. She finished her prep career with 806 points. "We are excited to have Samantha join our program," Ramsey said. "She is the type of student-athlete we want at our university and in our program. She is very athletic and is aggressive on both ends of the court."
