The Huntsville Lady Eagles (3-6) last Friday downed Class 5A Clarksville 57-52 to conclude play in the Crabtree Invitational Tournament in Bentonville. Huntsville went 1-2 in the tournament. Huntsville fell in the opening night of the tournament in Bentonville as the host team won 49-29. In round two of the tournament, Huntsville gave up the game’s final seven points and fell to Class 7A Bryant 44-40. The Lady Eagles led 33-28 entering the final period. In another nonconference game, Huntsville beat Farmington 55-40 last Tuesday. Huntsville hosted Bentonville West (1-3) on Tuesday. The Lady Eagles will take part in the Tony Chachere’s Tournament in Farmington this weekend. The schedule is as follows: 4 p.m. Thursday against Pea Ridge, 4 p.m. Friday against Harding Academy and 3 p.m. Saturday versus Farmington.
