LADY PANTHERS RUNNERS-UP IN VILONIA
The Clarksville Lady Panthers finished as runners-up in the recent Vilonia Tournament after falling to the Vilonia Lady Eagles 60-32 in the championship game on Saturday.
Clarksville led 12-11 after the first quarter but fell behind 25-24 at halftime. After the third quarter, Vilonia went up 41-25.
The Lady Panthers were led by Kenleigh Rieder with 12 points. Emmaline Rieder scored 10 points.
Clarksville reached the championship game with a 49-46 win over Sylvan Hills. In that game, the Lady Panthers battled back from a 25-17 deficit at halftime to get the narrow victory. Autumn Miller led the scoring with 14 points, followed by Abby Domerese with 11 points. Kenleigh Rieder scored nine points. In the first round of the tournament, Clarksville beat Arkansas High 60-44. Leading scorers in that game were Emmaline Rieder with 14 points, Kenleigh Rieder with 11 points and Abby Domerese with nine points.
